Stepchildren often develop close relationships with their stepparents and stepsiblings, further solidifying their status as relatives within the family unit. **

The answer to this question depends on individual preferences and circumstances. Having a lot of relatives around can provide a strong support system, a sense of belonging, and a diverse range of perspectives and experiences. On the other hand, having few relatives around can lead to closer, more intimate relationships and less potential for conflict or drama. Ultimately, the quality of the relationships and the support they provide is more important than the quantity of relatives. **
